According to talkSPORT, Serie A giants AC Milan have renewed their interest in Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez.
The Rossoneri have reportedly reached out to City regarding the Argentine after speaking with Tevez’s agent Kia Joorabchian.
After allegedly refusing to come off the bench in City’s 2-0 loss to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League on 27 September 2011, Tevez was exiled from the Etihad Stadium, and rightfully so.
Many assumed that the Argentine would not don City blue again. They were wrong.
Tevez made his controversial return on 21 March 2012 against Chelsea. He came on as a substitute in the 66th minute, replacing defensive midfielder Nigel De Jong.
The would-be Premier League champions were down 1-0 at the time after Gary Cahill opened the scoring for the visitors in the 60th minute.
City leveled the scoring in the 78th minute, courtesy of a Sergio Agüero penalty, and took the lead shortly thereafter through Samir Nasri.
The winning-goal was architected by none other than Carlos Tevez, following an inventive reverse pass to play in the Frenchman.
As they say, the rest is history.
